I Didn’t Meet My 2018 Weightloss Goals. Now What?

The new year is literally 48 hours away. Wow!! This year definitely came with its blessings and challenges. I’m done though and so ready to move into the new year.

I’m just spending these last few days reflecting on the year and checking off the goals I made. I truly made tremendous progress but I can’t say I checked of everything.

So I know the feeling when you think, everyone else met all their goals but here I am, possibly where I was last year.

First of all, that’s not true, whether you noticed it or not, you grew and you progressed. So cast off that thought and let’s move on to how we’re going to get it all in 2019.

It’s okay if you set goals especially fitness goals and your clothes are still snug or you even put on more weight.

However, the focus shouldn’t be on tearing yourself down but building yourself up for the new year.

So today, take some time out to reflect on what you truly want in 2019, health goals, financial goals, relationship goals, think it, imagine it until it looks like a reality.

Now write down the steps it will take you to achieve those goals, it doesn’t matter how many they are, just keep the happy feeling and keep writing.

Next, break those steps into plans, attach a date and set an action for each one.

Finally, tie up loose ends and very importantly, put it up where you can see it.

Get a part of your house and put it up on the wall where you will always see it as a reminder.

Remember to breathe, be thankful and prepare for the new year.

I wish you all the best and see you in 2019.

Cheers ladies.
