How To Fight The Bloat

Bloating is one common issue that most of us have and are constantly looking for ways to fight. From the discomfort, to making you unable to wear your favorite bodycon dresses, we all would rather NOT have the bloat.

Since bloating is so common, from periods to early pregnancy and just from eating too much meals with lots of gas, I’ve compiled a list of ways that you can fight the bloat in your own life.

  • Increase your fibre intake; a lot of times, we focus on getting only our proteins and carbs but we mostly forget to take our fibre, which is super important in aiding digestion and reducing bloating. Not sure how to increase your fibre intake, start with your oatmeal, bananas and avocados are a great source of fibre as well.
  • Reduce Your carbonated drinks; so many of us consume way too much sodas and fizzy drinks, and this could lead to bloating because of all that gas inside the drinks. So if you’re looking to reduce your bloating, you also need to reduce your intake of the fizzy drinks.
  • Eat slower; you need to try to reduce the speed at which you eat. Bloating at the end of the day, is primarily caused by indigestion and we all know that digestion begins in the mouth. So you need to help your body digest your meals, by eating slower.
