Recipe Of The Month: Banana Bread

So there’s nothing wrong with the occasional treats. You’re working out, you’re eating healthy but you occasionally want to have some cake, is that bad April?

Absolutely not, just don’t overdo it and as much as possible, keep it healthy.

Here’s a recipe for my absolute favorite, Banana Bread!!!

Disclaimer: Please ladies, if you’re losing weight, not more than one slice a day, thank you!!

Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
1/2 Tablespoon Baking soda
2 ripe bananas
A pinch of salt
2 eggs
30g coconut oil
50g raisins
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 cup of skimmed milk/yogurt
Directions;
Preheat oven at 200°
Sieve and mix all dry ingredients
Mash bananas in a bowl
Break eggs into bananas and mix together
Add milk, maple syrup, coconut oil and stir thoroughly
Add in dry ingredients, raisins and mix properly.

Bake for 45 minutes or more if required.
